Planetary transit 2027 in sidereal Lahiri terms: Saturn enters Mesh on 3 June 2027 and returns to Meen on 20 October, Jupiter moves Kark, Simha, Kanya, Rahu stays in Makar and Ketu in Kark all year. Four eclipse seasons and three Mercury retrogrades follow. Dates below are IST.

Deep Dive Analysis

Planetary Transit 2027: What This One Page Covers

Planetary transit 2027 is the question behind most year-ahead searches: where will each graha be, on which date does it change rashi, and what does that mean for my Moon sign. This page puts all nine grahas on one calendar. Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu-Ketu are the slow movers that shape the year. Sun, Mars, Mercury and Venus are the fast movers that add timing inside it.

If you want the whole-year frame first, read the 2027 astrology predictions complete guide, which this page sits under. If your main worry is Saturn, the deeper pages are the Saturn transit 2027 complete guide and the Saturn transit 2027 date timeline. This page only summarises them, so you can see the whole sky before you go deep on one planet.

Nothing here is a prediction of an event. A transit is a position in the sky, and what it means for you depends on your Moon sign, your running dasha and the strength of the graha in your own chart. Every heavy-sounding point below is written together with its limit and a practical step.

How the 2027 Transit Dates Were Computed

All dates on this page are sidereal, using the Lahiri ayanamsha, because Vedic gochar is read against the fixed zodiac and not the tropical one. Times are Indian Standard Time as computed for New Delhi using Swiss Ephemeris through the Trikaal Vaani gochar engine, and the eclipse dates were cross-checked with a second ephemeris tool. Rahu and Ketu are the Mean nodes.

Two cautions follow from that. A date a few hours either side can change by one calendar day in another time zone, so if you live outside India, convert the clock time before you plan around it. And any website that uses the tropical zodiac will show Saturn entering Aries at a different time from the sidereal Mesh ingress below, which is why you may see two different answers for the same question. Neither is a mistake, they simply use different zodiacs.

Where a date could not be computed with a tool, it is left out of this page. For example, combust windows are not listed because they were not part of the verified output, and the section on retrograde and combustion explains how to treat that gap.

Planetary Transit 2027 at a Glance: The Three Slow Movers

Saturn begins 2027 in Meen. It enters Mesh on 3 June 2027 at 05:28 IST, turns retrograde in Mesh on 9 August at 22:54, slips back into Meen on 20 October at 07:12 and becomes direct in Meen on 24 December at 09:05. That back-and-forth is the single most important feature of the year for anyone with Sade Sati or Dhaiya in the picture, and the Saturn in Aries 2027 neecha analysis explains what the debilitated placement means for dignity.

Jupiter begins 2027 retrograde at about 2 degrees of Simha. It moves back into Kark on 25 January at 01:32, turns direct in Kark on 13 April at 08:13, re-enters Simha on 26 June at 05:19 and moves on to Kanya on 26 November at 18:45. The Hindi page on guru gochar 2027 covers Jupiter in depth.

Rahu stays in Makar and Ketu stays in Kark through the whole of 2027. Rahu sits near 28.6 degrees of Makar on 1 January, near 19.0 degrees on 1 July and near 9.4 degrees on 30 December, always moving backward. No sign change for the nodes appears in the 2027 gochar calendar. The pillar page on Rahu Ketu transit 2026 is still the right background read, because the axis carries over.

Saturn Transit 2027: Meen, Then Mesh, Then Meen Again

Shani spends the first five months of 2027 in Meen, the sign of Jupiter, where the Saturn transit 2026 page left it. On 3 June 2027 it crosses into Mesh, the sign where Saturn is traditionally called debilitated. The Mesh stay is short, about four and a half months, ending on 20 October 2027 when retrograde motion carries Shani back into Meen. It then finishes the year there and turns direct on 24 December.

Why does this matter in plain words? A slow graha that changes sign twice in a year touches your Moon sign for two separate windows, not one. A person with Moon in Mesh sees Saturn in the twelfth house until 3 June, on the Moon from 3 June to 20 October, and back in the twelfth afterwards. That is not a fresh round of difficulty each time, it is one long phase with a pause.

The limit here is important. Debilitation describes a graha that finds it hard to express itself, and the classical texts also describe cancellation and strengthening conditions, so a debilitated Saturn is not a verdict. Read the Saturn transit 2027 complete guide for the dignity discussion, and use the Shani gochar 2027 meaning guide for house-by-house notes.

Saturn Retrograde 2027: 9 August to 24 December

Saturn turns retrograde on 9 August 2027 at 22:54 IST at about 3.6 degrees of Mesh and stays retrograde until the direct station on 24 December at 09:05 IST at about 26.8 degrees of Meen. Because the 20 October re-entry into Meen happens in the middle of this retrograde window, the same graha is retrograde in two different signs within one phase.

A retrograde Shani is not a weaker Shani in the classical frame, it is a graha that feels closer and more insistent, so the themes of duty, delay and accountability tend to come back for review instead of moving on. For ordinary life this often looks like old files, old obligations or an unfinished conversation resurfacing. The honest limit is that the effect is felt most where Saturn already matters in your chart, so someone with a strong Saturn in the tenth house reads it as a career review, while someone without that emphasis may barely notice it.

A useful habit is to treat the four and a half months as an audit period: finish paperwork, renew documents, clear small pending debts and keep routines steady. The earlier Saturn retrograde 2026 page shows how the same logic worked last year, and the 2027 retrograde predictions page lists the other retrograde grahas.

Jupiter Transit 2027: Simha, Kark and Kanya

Jupiter is the second slow mover, and 2027 gives it three sign changes. It starts the year retrograde in Simha, falls back into Kark on 25 January, stations direct on 13 April in Kark at about 22.8 degrees, climbs into Simha again on 26 June and finally reaches Kanya on 26 November 2027. The next retrograde station in the calendar is 12 January 2028 in Kanya, which falls just outside this year.

For anyone searching for the Jupiter transit 2027 to 2028 window, the shape is clear: Kark gives Jupiter its sign of exaltation for roughly five months of 2027, Simha is a friendly fire sign, and Kanya is Mercury sign where Jupiter is not at its most comfortable. Exaltation and friendly placement are strength indicators, but they do not guarantee results by themselves, since the house Jupiter occupies from your Moon matters more than the sign alone.

For the personal reading, use the Hindi guru gochar 2027 guide and the English background in the Jupiter transit 2026 learn page, which explains how Guru blessings work through the houses it aspects.

Rahu Ketu Transit 2027: The Makar-Kark Axis Continues

Rahu in Makar and Ketu in Kark do not change sign anywhere in the 2027 calendar. What does change is the degree: the nodes slide backward from about 28.6 degrees in January to about 9.4 degrees by the end of December, which means they cross several nakshatras on the way, from Dhanishta at the start of the year to Shravana in July and Uttara Ashadha by December. Ketu mirrors this in Kark, from Ashlesha to Pushya.

People searching for Rahu transit 2027 usually want to know if a new ingress is coming. For 2027 the answer from the engine is no, the axis stays put, so the Rahu result for any Moon sign is a continuation of a house placement, not a new start. The Rahu Ketu transit 2026 pillar and the question page is the Rahu Ketu transit dangerous answer the fear side directly.

The limit is worth stating. A node is a shadow point, not a physical planet, and it behaves like the graha that rules the sign it occupies and the graha that aspects it. So Rahu in Makar carries a Saturn flavour, and its effect on you depends heavily on what Saturn is doing in your chart. For job-related questions, the Rahu Ketu transit and working professionals page gives practical cases.

Mars Transit 2027: Long Simha, Kark Retrograde and Fast Finish

Mars has a busy year. It begins in Simha, turns retrograde on 10 January at 18:25 IST at about 16.2 degrees, slips back into Kark on 10 March at 00:13, and becomes direct on 1 April at 19:42 IST at about 26.7 degrees of Kark. Kark is the sign where Mars is debilitated, so the 10 March to 26 April window is the one to read carefully.

After the direct station Mars climbs to Simha on 26 April at 11:47 and then moves on at a normal pace: Kanya on 5 July at 04:35, Tula on 24 August at 09:52, Vrischik on 8 October at 01:29, Dhanu on 18 November at 08:46 and Makar on 27 December at 13:05. Vrischik is a sign Mars rules, so the October to November stretch is the strongest Mars window of the year by sign.

The limit: a debilitated Mars is a question of how energy is used, not of accidents, and the useful response is steadier physical routines, patience in speech and care with heated arguments. The detailed Hindi page Mangal gochar 2026-27 and the English Mars transit 2026-27 page go through each rashi.

Mercury Retrograde 2027: Three Windows and Their Signs

Mercury turns retrograde three times in 2027. The first window runs from 9 February at 23:06 IST in Kumbh at about 11.7 degrees to 3 March at 18:03 IST in Makar at about 26.7 degrees, with Mercury backing into Makar on 24 February. The second runs from 10 June at 23:45 IST in Mithun at about 12.1 degrees to 5 July at 01:11 IST in Mithun at about 3.2 degrees. The third runs from 7 October at 20:07 IST in Tula at about 10.7 degrees to 28 October at 19:41 IST in Kanya at about 25.1 degrees.

The June window is notable because it is in Mithun, Mercury own sign, so the retrograde there is closer to a review of ideas and contracts than to confusion. The October window crosses from Tula into Kanya on 21 October, and Kanya is both Mercury own and exaltation sign. These are classical dignity facts, and they soften the usual advice to freeze all decisions.

A sensible reading is to double check messages, travel bookings and signatures during all three windows, and to avoid reading them as a stop sign. The Mercury retrograde October 2026 page shows the same calm approach for last year, and the 2027 retrograde predictions page compares all the retrograde grahas.

Venus Transit 2027: Fifteen Ingresses and No Retrograde

Venus moves quickly and the 2027 calendar lists no retrograde station for it, so the whole year is direct motion. It enters Vrischik on 1 January at 23:23 IST, Dhanu on 29 January, Makar on 24 February, Kumbh on 21 March, Meen on 15 April, Mesh on 10 May, Vrishabh on 4 June, Mithun on 28 June, Kark on 23 July, Simha on 16 August, Kanya on 9 September and Tula on 3 October. It then moves to Vrischik on 27 October, Dhanu on 21 November and Makar on 15 December.

Venus is exalted in Meen and rules Vrishabh and Tula, so 15 April to 10 May in Meen and 4 to 28 June in Vrishabh are the two windows when the graha is strongest by sign. Venus is debilitated in Kanya, which makes 9 September to 3 October the quietest sign window. These are dignity statements, not promises about romance or money.

The practical limit is that Venus results show up mostly through relationships, comforts and spending, so a strong sign is a reason to plan gifts, purchases or commitments with care, not a reason to rush them. Use the Panchang page for the day-level view and the 2027 lucky dates and panchang yoga guide for refined timing.

Sun Sankranti Dates 2027: When Surya Changes Rashi

Surya changes sign once a month, and each change is a sankranti. The 2027 dates in IST are: Makar on 14 January at 21:10, Kumbh on 13 February at 10:09, Meen on 15 March at 07:00, Mesh on 14 April at 15:28, Vrishabh on 15 May at 12:20, Mithun on 15 June at 18:56, Kark on 17 July at 05:49, Simha on 17 August at 14:14, Kanya on 17 September at 14:11, Tula on 18 October at 02:09, Vrischik on 17 November at 01:59 and Dhanu on 16 December at 16:39.

The Makar entry is the one most readers know, and its festival timing is on the Makar Sankranti 2027 page. The Mesh entry on 14 April is the sidereal solar new year in many traditions, and Surya is exalted in Mesh, so the month to 15 May is the strongest solar window of the year. Surya is debilitated in Tula, which covers 18 October to 17 November.

A small limit: the clock time of a sankranti can sit near midnight and then the festival date is decided by local punya kaal rules, not by the raw ingress, so check the city page before you plan a ritual around it.

Eclipse Dates 2027: Five Grahans, One Total Solar

Five eclipses fall in 2027 in the verified calendar. A Surya grahan, annular, on 6 February with the global peak at 21:30 IST in Makar, Dhanishta nakshatra, not visible from New Delhi. A Chandra grahan, penumbral, on 21 February with peak at 04:43 IST in Simha, Magha nakshatra, visible in Delhi. A Chandra grahan, penumbral, on 18 July with peak at 21:33 IST in Makar, Uttara Ashadha, visible. A total Surya grahan on 2 August with the global peak at 15:37 IST in Kark, Pushya nakshatra, where Delhi sees only a partial phase from 15:54 to 17:03 IST at a magnitude near 0.17. And a penumbral Chandra grahan on 17 August with peak at 12:44 IST in Makar, Dhanishta, not visible from Delhi.

The tool also gives the sutak rule: in parampara, sutak applies 12 hours before a Surya grahan and 9 hours before a Chandra grahan, only where the eclipse is visible, and not for penumbral (upachhaya) eclipses. So the only 2027 sutak for Delhi is for the 2 August solar eclipse, which begins at 03:54 IST that day. The 6 February event is annular, but it is not visible from Delhi, so no sutak applies there.

A second ephemeris check confirmed the two solar eclipses, an annular one on 6 February and a total one on 2 August. For ritual detail, the eclipse astrology 2026 page and the Chandra grahan August 2026 guide explain what to do and what to skip, and the same logic carries over.

Retrograde and Combust Windows: What Can Be Said

Retrograde windows for Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury are listed above with exact stations, and Venus has none in 2027. Combustion, where a graha sits too close to the Sun and loses visible strength, is a separate question, and the verified gochar output did not include combust windows, so none are published here. Rather than guess a date, this page points you to the combustion explainer and to your own chart.

The Phaladipika makes a related point about weak transits. It says that grahas which stand in favourable positions at transit still become fruitless if they are in debilitation, in an enemy sign or combust, while those in unfavourable positions give heavy troubles.[3] In plain words, a good house alone is not enough and a bad house alone is not final, so sign strength and the Sun proximity always sit beside the house count.

The limit of this rule is that it describes tendencies of a graha at a moment, not outcomes for a person. A fruitless transit means that benefit is withheld, not that harm arrives. Check the strength of your own planets with the free weak planet finder before reading too much into any one date.

Month-by-Month Transit Calendar for 2027

January opens with Venus in Vrischik from 1 January, Mars retrograde from 10 January, Mercury in Makar the same day, the Makar sankranti on 14 January and Jupiter slipping back into Kark on 25 January. Mercury reaches Kumbh on 28 January and Venus Dhanu on 29 January.

February starts with the annular solar eclipse on 6 February, Mercury retrograde on 9 February, the Kumbh sankranti on 13 February, the penumbral lunar eclipse on 21 February and Venus entering Makar on 24 February. March brings Mercury direct on 3 March, Mars into Kark on 10 March, the Meen sankranti on 15 March and Venus into Kumbh on 21 March.

April has Mars direct on 1 April, Jupiter direct on 13 April, the Mesh sankranti on 14 April and Venus into Meen on 15 April. May is quieter, with Mesh to Vrishabh for Mercury on 6 May and the Vrishabh sankranti on 15 May. June is the Saturn month: Saturn enters Mesh on 3 June, Mercury turns retrograde on 10 June, and Jupiter returns to Simha on 26 June.

July has Mercury direct on 5 July, Mars into Kanya the same day, the lunar eclipse on 18 July and the Kark sankranti on 17 July. August brings the total solar eclipse on 2 August, Saturn retrograde on 9 August and the penumbral lunar eclipse on 17 August. September is light, with Venus into Kanya on 9 September. October is dense: Mercury retrograde on 7 October, Mars into Vrischik on 8 October, the Tula sankranti on 18 October and Saturn back into Meen on 20 October. November has Jupiter into Kanya on 26 November, and December closes with Saturn direct on 24 December and Mars into Makar on 27 December.

How Your Moon Sign Decides What a Transit Means

Gochar is read from the Moon, not from the Sun sign. The Phaladipika says that among all lagnas the Moon lagna is the chief one for transits, and that results should be told from the graha movements reckoned from that rashi.[1] This is why two people born in the same month can have very different 2027 experiences, and why a sun-sign horoscope in a newspaper is a rough guide at best.

To use the tables below, find your Moon sign first with the free rashi calculator or the free janam kundali calculator, then count the house each slow graha occupies from that sign. The houses in astrology guide explains what each house stands for, and the planets in astrology page explains what each graha signifies.

One limit applies to every line that follows. A transit shows the climate of a period, and the running dasha decides how much of it you feel, so open the free dasha calculator alongside this page. The 2027 rashi notes also appear in full in the 2027 yearly horoscope month by month.

Transit 2027 for Mesh, Vrishabh and Mithun Moon Signs

Mesh Moon: Saturn is in the twelfth house until 3 June, on your Moon until 20 October and in the twelfth again after that, so this is Sade Sati, the middle part being the heaviest, and Rahu in Makar touches the tenth house of work. The limit is that Sade Sati rewards steady routine and the remedy is simple, a Saturday evening diya and fixed sleep hours, with more in the Mesh rashi Sade Sati page.

Vrishabh Moon: Saturn moves from the eleventh to the twelfth house on 3 June, so Sade Sati starts for you in 2027 and the Moon sign calculator will show the first phase beginning that day. The limit is that the first phase is mostly about expenses, rest and endings, and the remedy is a written monthly budget and unhurried sleep, since the early phase is the lightest of the three. Rahu in Makar sits in the ninth house, linked to luck and teachers.

Mithun Moon: Saturn is in the tenth house, then the eleventh, which tends to direct effort towards work and gains rather than strain. Rahu in Makar falls in the eighth house, which is about hidden matters, research and sudden change. The limit is that the eighth-house node asks for caution with unclear financial offers, and the plain remedy is to read every document twice. See the Mithun rashi Sade Sati page for the wider picture.

Transit 2027 for Kark, Simha and Kanya Moon Signs

Kark Moon: Saturn is in the ninth house, then the tenth, so mentors, long journeys and career responsibility all weigh more, and Jupiter spends five months of the year in your own sign Kark between 25 January and 26 June. Ketu in Kark sits on your Moon sign all year, a detached and inward feeling. The limit is that Ketu on the Moon is about reflection, not loss, and a short daily silence of ten minutes is the simplest remedy. The Kark rashi Sade Sati page is the longer read.

Simha Moon: Saturn is in the eighth house until 3 June, which is a Dhaiya, then it moves to the ninth house until 20 October, then returns to the eighth. Rahu in Makar falls in the sixth house, which often helps in competition and routine work. The limit is that the eighth-house Saturn favours patience over speed, and the remedy is to avoid big risks on impulse. Jupiter is in your own sign Simha in the first and third part of the year, helpful for confidence. See the Simha rashi Sade Sati page.

Kanya Moon: Saturn is in the seventh house then the eighth, so partnerships get tested first and the eighth-house Dhaiya follows from 3 June. Rahu in Makar sits in the fifth house of study and children, and Jupiter reaches your sign Kanya on 26 November. The limit is that seventh-house Saturn tests commitment without ending it, and the remedy is plain communication on a fixed weekly day. The Kanya rashi Sade Sati page gives more.

Transit 2027 for Tula, Vrischik and Dhanu Moon Signs

Tula Moon: Saturn is in the sixth house, then the seventh. The sixth house is the classic house for service, routine, health habits and handling competition, so many people feel more able to clear backlogs. Rahu in Makar sits in the fourth house of home and peace of mind, and Ketu in Kark in the tenth. The limit is that fourth-house Rahu can bring restlessness at home, and the remedy is a calm evening routine and a tidy shared space.

Vrischik Moon: Saturn is in the fifth house, then the sixth. The fifth house covers children, study and creative effort, so this is a year for patient learning, not shortcuts. Rahu in Makar falls in the third house, which is about effort, siblings and communication. The limit is that third-house Rahu favours bold effort but can scatter focus, so choose one project and finish it. Mars rules your sign and passes through Vrischik from 8 October to 18 November.

Dhanu Moon: Saturn is in the fourth house until 3 June, which is a Dhaiya, then the fifth house until 20 October, then back in the fourth. Rahu in Makar sits in the second house of speech and family wealth. The limit is that the Dhaiya is a time for home and mental rest, not a verdict on prosperity, and the remedy is quiet time at home and measured speech. The Dhanu rashi Sade Sati page covers the neighbouring Sade Sati side.

Transit 2027 for Makar, Kumbh and Meen Moon Signs

Makar Moon: Saturn is in the third house until 3 June, then in the fourth, which is a Dhaiya from that day, then back in the third on 20 October. Rahu in Makar sits right on your Moon sign all year, so the mind can feel pulled between ambition and doubt. The limit is that Rahu on the Moon intensifies thinking but does not decide events, and the remedy is fewer screens at night and fixed meal times. The Makar rashi Sade Sati page gives the longer view.

Kumbh Moon: Saturn is in the second house then the third, so your Sade Sati is in its last phase until 3 June 2027, and the tool shows the period running to early 2028 with the Mesh stay interrupting it. Rahu in Makar falls in the twelfth house of expenses and foreign matters. The limit is that the last phase is the one that eases, and the remedy is to tidy savings and sleep habits. The Kumbh rashi Sade Sati page has details.

Meen Moon: Saturn is in your own sign until 3 June, which is the heaviest part of Sade Sati, then in the second house until 20 October and back on the Moon after that. Rahu in Makar falls in the eleventh house of gains and friends, and Ketu in Kark in the fifth. The limit is that Saturn in the Moon sign asks for discipline, not hardship, and the remedy is a steady morning routine. The Meen rashi Sade Sati page is the right next read.

Sade Sati and Dhaiya in 2027: Who Is Affected and When

Sade Sati runs when Saturn is in the twelfth, first or second house from your Moon, and Dhaiya runs when it is in the fourth or eighth. Using the Trikaal Vaani calculator on 1 January 2027 with Saturn in Meen, Meen Moon is in the peak phase, Mesh Moon in the first phase, Kumbh Moon in the last phase, Dhanu Moon in a fourth-house Dhaiya and Simha Moon in an eighth-house Dhaiya.

On 3 June, when Saturn enters Mesh, the picture shifts. Mesh Moon moves to the peak phase, Vrishabh Moon enters the first phase, Makar Moon begins a fourth-house Dhaiya and Kanya Moon an eighth-house Dhaiya, both listed by the tool from mid-2027. Dhanu and Simha Dhaiya pause until Saturn goes back into Meen on 20 October. The tool lists the Dhaiya for Dhanu and Simha as running to early 2028 in two pieces.

The limit is that a Sade Sati or Dhaiya label tells you the phase, not the outcome. Many charts show a strong Saturn for the lagna, and the Is Sade Sati always bad page explains why. For the difference between the two, see Sade Sati vs Dhaiyya Shani.

How to Check Which Sade Sati or Dhaiya Phase You Are In

The check takes three steps. First, find your Moon sign. If you know your birth time and place, the free rashi calculator gives it in seconds. Second, count the house Saturn occupies from that sign for each of the three windows in 2027: Meen until 3 June, Mesh from 3 June to 20 October, Meen again from 20 October to the end of the year. Third, match the house number to the phase list: twelfth is the first phase, first is the peak, second is the last phase, fourth or eighth is Dhaiya.

If you prefer a direct answer, the free Sade Sati calculator does the count for you and shows the start and end dates. The page Is my Sade Sati running walks through the common doubts, such as a Moon sign at the edge of a boundary, and Sade Sati start and end date explains the date logic.

A short caution: if your Moon is within about a degree of a sign boundary, the sign itself can change with a few minutes of birth time error, so confirm the birth time first. A signs of Sade Sati check against real life is a useful second opinion, but it does not replace the chart count.

Transit Strength: Own Sign, Debilitation and Ashtakavarga

A transit house count is only half the reading. The Phaladipika says that a graha placed in an unfavourable bhava does not do harm if it stands in its exaltation or own sign and also fits a good bhava, and that such a graha can give full results in transit.[2] It adds that where a graha has more ashtakavarga bindus in a sign, the transit result there follows those bindus, and even a graha in the twelfth, sixth or eighth gives good results.[4]

Two practical points follow. First, the dignity of the transiting graha matters: Saturn in Mesh is debilitated, Saturn in Meen is in a Jupiter sign, which Saturn treats as neutral, Jupiter in Kark is exalted, Mars in Kark is debilitated. Second, the ashtakavarga score of the sign the graha crosses can lift or lower the result. The planetary dignity guide covers the first point in full.

The limit is that ashtakavarga scores need your birth chart and cannot be guessed from the year alone. Use the free janam kundali calculator to see your chart, and treat the sign-level notes on this page as the general weather and your own chart as the local forecast.

Myth Versus Fact About 2027 Planetary Transits

Myth: Saturn entering Mesh in 2027 is a disaster for everyone. Fact: it affects mainly those whose Moon sign is Mesh, Vrishabh, Makar, Kanya and the signs that already carry Sade Sati or Dhaiya, and even then the stay is only from 3 June to 20 October. The Saturn in Aries 2027 neecha analysis explains the limits of debilitation.

Myth: Rahu and Ketu change sign in 2027. Fact: the verified calendar shows Rahu in Makar and Ketu in Kark all year, so any change you feel is the continuation of a placement, not a new one. Myth: retrograde means everything goes wrong. Fact: retrograde is a change in apparent motion, and the dignity of the sign and the strength of the graha in your chart matter more than the label.

Myth: eclipses always bring harm. Fact: three of the five 2027 eclipses are penumbral, which the parampara does not treat with sutak, and only the 2 August solar eclipse is partly visible from Delhi. Myth: a gemstone fixes a bad transit. Fact: stones are never the first remedy, because they are costly and hard to reverse, while a routine remedy is easy to start and stop. The free upay calculator suggests starting points based on your chart.

Worked Example: A Dhanu Moon Through 2027 (Hypothetical)

This is a hypothetical example, not a real client. Take a person with Moon in Dhanu, working in a mid-sized company, living with parents, with Venus mahadasha running. On 1 January 2027 Saturn is in Meen, the fourth house from Dhanu, so a Dhaiya is active and the person often feels tired at home and unsettled about property or family space.

On 3 June Saturn enters Mesh, the fifth house, and the Dhaiya pauses. The tool shows the Dhanu Dhaiya running to early 2028 in two pieces, so the person does not leave the Dhaiya for good but gets a gap. During June to October the fifth house emphasises study, creative work and children, so this is the better window to start a course or to plan a project. On 20 October Saturn returns to Meen and the fourth-house theme comes back until 24 December when Saturn turns direct.

The limit of the example is that it uses only the sign and house count. A real reading also checks the dasha, the strength of Saturn in the birth chart and the ashtakavarga score of Meen and Mesh. Even so, this is how most people can use the 2027 transit calendar: note the three windows, assign a theme to each, and plan decisions accordingly. The free dasha calculator completes the picture.

Five-Line Upay for the Saturn Phase in 2027

What to do: light a sesame-oil diya near a peepal tree or at home and keep your Saturday routine on time. When: Saturday evening after sunset, starting on the first Saturday after 3 June 2027 or on any Saturday you choose if Sade Sati or Dhaiya is running for your Moon sign. How much it costs: only the oil, wick and a diya, a few rupees at most. How many days: for 43 Saturdays or until the phase ends in your calendar, and you can pause during illness or travel without guilt. Why for you: it is a calm daily-habit remedy that keeps Saturn themes of discipline and service steady.

How: clean the spot, light the diya, say the Saturn name three times and sit quietly for two minutes. Caution: do not borrow money or take a loan to perform any ritual, do not follow any remedy that promises to remove Saturn, and do not begin a stone before a chart review. The remedy is a habit, not a bargain.

The Sade Sati remedies page lists more options with the same plain approach, and the free Sade Sati calculator tells you whether the Saturday habit is relevant to you in 2027.

Five-Line Upay for the Rahu-Ketu Axis and Eclipse Days

What to do: keep a simple evening routine and spend ten quiet minutes without screens, ideally with a short walk or a few minutes of breathing. When: daily through the year if Rahu in Makar or Ketu in Kark touches your Moon sign or a sensitive house, and with extra care on 2 August 2027, the one eclipse day that carries sutak in Delhi. How much it costs: nothing. How many days: 40 days is a reasonable test, then review how you feel. Why for you: Rahu and Ketu amplify restlessness and distraction, so a fixed quiet block reduces the noise.

How: choose the same time every evening, switch off notifications and write down one worry and one next step. Caution: skip fear-driven rituals sold at high prices, and never stop prescribed medicines because of an eclipse or a transit. If the sutak applies in your city for the 2 August eclipse, light meals and a short rest are enough.

Using the 2027 Calendar Without Overreacting

A transit calendar is a planning aid, not a script. A good way to use it is in three layers. The first layer is the slow movers, which set the mood of the year: Saturn in Meen, Mesh and Meen, Jupiter in Simha, Kark, Simha and Kanya, and the nodes in Makar and Kark. The second layer is the fast movers, which give month-level timing: Mars, Mercury, Venus and Surya. The third layer is the day-level panchang, which refines choices like travel or ceremonies.

For big decisions such as a wedding, a house purchase or a job move, the transit is only one input and the dasha and the muhurat matter as much. The 2027 lucky dates panchang yoga guide and the Panchang page cover day-level selection, and a couple planning a wedding can also use the kundali milan tool to check compatibility.

The limit is that none of this predicts a specific event. If a date on this page worries you, write down what you actually need to do in that week and make a plan for it. A calm checklist beats a fearful forecast, and the 2027 unlucky zodiac signs page and the 2027 biggest life changes page explain the Saturn-led shifts in more detail.

For Saturn, start with the Saturn transit 2027 complete guide and the Saturn transit 2027 date timeline, then the Shani gochar 2027 meaning guide. For Jupiter, the Hindi page guru gochar 2027 is the deep read, and the Jupiter in Leo 2026 learn page shows the Simha background.

For Mars, use the Mars transit 2026-27 page and the Mars transit 2026 learn page. For retrograde grahas, use the 2027 retrograde predictions page. For Rahu and Ketu, the Rahu Ketu transit pillar is the best entry. For eclipse practice, use the eclipse astrology 2026 page.

For the whole-year view, the pillar is the 2027 astrology predictions complete guide, and it links on to the monthly and sign-wise pages. If you want to understand how a chart is built before using any of these, how a kundli works is the short, plain introduction.

Planetary Transit 2027: Final Word

The shape of 2027 is simple once you hold three things in mind. Saturn crosses into Mesh on 3 June, retreats into Meen on 20 October and turns direct on 24 December. Jupiter moves through Kark, Simha and Kanya. Rahu and Ketu hold Makar and Kark all year. Everything else, the Mars retrograde from 10 January to 1 April, the three Mercury windows and the five eclipses, sits inside that frame.

Read your own Moon sign in the rashi sections, check your phase with the calculator and pick one small habit from the upay sections. Treat every date as a calendar entry, not a warning. A transit never decides a life by itself, and the graha strength in your chart, your dasha and your own steady effort carry far more weight than any single day.

    — Phaladipika, Adhyaya 26 — Gochara Phala (Transit Results) · Shlok 1

For transit reading the Moon lagna is the chief one among all lagnas, so results are told from the graha movements counted from the Moon rashi.

    — Phaladipika, Adhyaya 26 — Gochara Phala (Transit Results) · Shlok 31

A graha in an unfavourable bhava, if it stands in its exaltation or own sign and also fits a good bhava, does no harm and gives full results in transit.

    — Phaladipika, Adhyaya 26 — Gochara Phala (Transit Results) · Shlok 32

Grahas in favourable transit positions become fruitless if they are debilitated, in an enemy sign or combust, while those in unfavourable positions give considerable trouble.

    — Phaladipika, Adhyaya 26 — Gochara Phala (Transit Results) · Shlok 41

Where the ashtakavarga has more bindus, the transiting graha gives a good result there, and even in the twelfth, sixth or eighth place it can give good results.

    जिस राशि में अष्टकवर्ग के बिन्दु अधिक हों वहाँ गोचर में ग्रह शुभ फल देता है, और व्यय, अरि या रन्ध्र में स्थित होकर भी शुभ फल दे सकता है।
