Meen 2026 vs Meen 2027 — What Changed

In 2026 Saturn stayed in Meen all year, having entered it on 29 March 2025. Jupiter moved from Mithun, the 4th house, into Karka, the 5th, on 2 June 2026 and into Simha, the 6th, on 31 October 2026, and Rahu shifted from Kumbh, the 12th, to Makar, the 11th, on 5 December 2026. The new elements of 2027 are Jupiter returning to exalted Karka from 25 January, Saturn touching Mesh from 3 June to 20 October, Jupiter entering the 7th on 26 November, and Rahu in the 11th for the full year. Pisces 2027 Transit Table — Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu-Ketu and Eclipses

Saturn is in Meen (1st) from 1 January, enters Mesh (2nd, debilitated) at 05:28 IST on 3 June, turns retrograde on 9 August at about 3 degrees of Mesh, returns to Meen at 07:12 IST on 20 October, turns direct on 24 December, and enters Mesh again on 23 February 2028. Jupiter is retrograde in Simha (6th) until it enters Karka (5th, exalted) at 01:32 IST on 25 January, turns direct on 13 April, enters Simha (6th) on 26 June and enters Kanya (7th) on 26 November. Rahu stays in Makar (11th) and Ketu in Karka (5th) all year. Venus is exalted in Meen from 15 April to 10 May. Mercury is retrograde from 9 February to 3 March, from 10 June to 5 July and from 7 to 28 October. How Phaladeepika Counts Transits for Meen

The Phaladeepika of Mantreshwara, in its 26th chapter on the results of transits (Gochara Phala), gives three steps that this page follows. First, count every moving planet from the natal Moon sign. Second, check whether that house is a good one for that planet, which for Saturn means the 3rd, 6th and 11th and for Jupiter the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th. Third, check the modifiers: obstruction by another planet (vedha), aspect by a benefic or a malefic, the dignity of the transiting planet, and its Ashtakavarga points. A planet transiting a sign where it has more Ashtakavarga bindus gives good results even from the 12th, 6th or 8th house.^[25] For Meen in 2027 this produces a clear map: Saturn in two difficult houses with Jupiter aspect for most of the year, and Jupiter in one excellent house (the 5th, exalted), one weak house (the 6th) and one good house (the 7th). Saturn in the Last Third of Meen — March to June and October to December

Phaladeepika says Mars and the Sun give their results in the first third of a sign, Jupiter and Venus in the middle third, the Moon and Saturn in the last third, and Mercury and Rahu throughout.^[4] Saturn was at about 14 degrees of Meen on 1 January 2027 and about 19 degrees on 1 March, so it crosses into the last third (20 to 30 degrees) around mid-March. From then until 3 June, and again from 20 October, when it returns at about 29 degrees and slowly retrogrades to about 27 degrees by 24 December, Saturn is in the part of Meen where this verse says it acts. The Jupiter side of the same rule is a useful limit. Jupiter stays between about 22 and 30 degrees of Karka in 2027, so its exalted 5th-house help works through its sign, house and aspect rather than through a middle-third peak. This is one reading of the verse, and your own chart can show a different emphasis.

Exalted Jupiter in Karka — the 5th-House Window (25 January to 26 June)

This is the single best transit of 2027 for Meen. Karka is the exaltation sign of Jupiter, the 5th house is one of its good transit houses, and an exalted planet in a good house gives its full result. Expect support for children and pregnancy plans, admissions and exams, creative and advisory work, mantra practice, and favour from seniors. Jupiter is retrograde until 13 April, so the first weeks favour revisiting old plans, while the period from 13 April to 22 May favours new starts. From 23 May Mercury in Mithun obstructs Jupiter, and Jupiter leaves Karka on 26 June. Jupiter in Simha — the 6th-House Stretch (1 to 24 January and 26 June to 26 November)

Jupiter in the 6th from the Moon is a weak transit placement. Phaladeepika says enemies, relatives and illness cause trouble then, so watch digestion and liver habits, avoid standing guarantee for others, and keep workplace politics at a distance. The relief inside the same stretch is that Jupiter in Simha sends its 9th sight to Mesh, so it watches over Saturn in your 2nd house from 26 June to 20 October. Jupiter Enters Kanya — the 7th House from 26 November 2027

At 18:45 IST on 26 November 2027 Jupiter enters Kanya, the 7th from Meen, and stays there into 2028. It turns retrograde on 12 January 2028 and briefly re-enters Simha on 28 February 2028. Phaladeepika gives Jupiter in the 7th travel for good purposes, happiness through the spouse and gain of children. Jupiter is good in the 7th unless a planet in the 3rd from the Moon obstructs it, and the engine shows no planet in Vrishabh in December 2027, so the window opens clean. Rahu in Makar (11th) and Ketu in Karka (5th) Through 2027

Rahu stays in Makar, the 11th from Meen, for the whole of 2027, and Phaladeepika names subhaga, good fortune, as the result of Rahu in the 11th from the Moon. This supports income through networks, technology, foreign links, elder siblings and friends. Ketu stays in Karka, the 5th, and because the nodes act like the Sun in transit, it can bring the restlessness of mind that the Sun gives in the 5th. Exalted Venus in Meen — 15 April to 10 May 2027

Venus enters Meen at 15:21 IST on 15 April and leaves on 10 May. Meen is the exaltation sign of Venus, and Venus over the Moon sign gives every kind of enjoyment. For Meen natives this is the warmest month of the year for relationships, art, music, clothing, vehicles and small comforts, and a good time for family celebrations. It overlaps the exalted-Jupiter window, so April and early May are the high point of 2027. Sun Transit Months for Meen in 2027

The Sun is good in the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th from the Moon. For Meen the Sun is in Dhanu, the 10th, until 14 January and again from 16 December, giving success in work, and in Makar, the 11th, from 14 January to 13 February, giving position, honour and freedom from illness. It moves through Kumbh, the 12th, from 13 February to 15 March, which brings extra expense and tiredness. In practice, open your chart and look at the Saturn Ashtakavarga (Bhinnashtakavarga) points in Meen and in Mesh. Is Sade Sati Always Bad for Meen?

No. Sade Sati is often described only through fear, but the classical transit rules judge Saturn by house, dignity, aspect and Ashtakavarga, not by a single label. For Meen, Saturn is the lord of Makar and Kumbh, the 11th and 12th signs, so it also carries the themes of gains and of letting go.
